Its been a long time since I wrote anything, but just felt like it. I’d been blessed to work with kids from Down Syndrome Association for the past month to put up a show in school and I’ve learnt so much just from the 4 weeks of spending time and rehearsing with them. I realized that life is pretty simple and we do have a lot given to us. Sometimes we just forget that we have to make the best out of all that we have. Comparing will not change the fact that we have the face that we have, or the body that we have, even the intelligence that we have. Everyone is special in our own ways and we all have to enjoy the small little things in life and spread as much love as we can to one another.   I learnt so much about love and friendship from these kids as well. It’s difficult to love everyone equally because we all have preferences and such, but we can at least try to show to our loved ones that we do care about them and that we do appreciate their presence in our lives. I don’t know if I have made an impact upon these kids within the short span of a month, but they surely have taught me a lot, and I’m definitely blessed to have met them. ♥
